The Bio range of Meseta ground coffee also includes a variety with dark roasting, specifically ground for the preparation of filter coffee, that is, the typical American coffee drunk in a large cup. Lighter than the traditional espresso, this coffee is devised for preparation with the specific filter coffee machine, that allows you to serve a long coffee: if the typical espresso cup contains on average 25 ml of coffee, filter coffee is usually served up to 100 ml, in mugs or special paper cups.
Unlike the preparation with the moka pot, where the drink is extracted by percolation, filter coffee is prepared via infusion, with a coffee ground in a different way (slightly coarser grain compared to that used in the moka pot).
